Celebrating Easter!

Spring is just about here and Easter is right around the corner and I'm celebrating with some of the wonderful, new Reverse Confetti products from this month's release!

Who doesn't LOVE this darling little lamb from the All About Ewe stamp set?!  I created a little Easter "gift set" using All About Ewe with the coordinating Confetti Cuts, Easter Blessings, Basket Confetti Cuts (on the full sized card) and Edgers (on the little gift tag).

For my card, I choose this wonderful image from STAMPlorations Holiday Sketches Christmas Bell and CUTplorations Peace on Earth phrase die.  The oval die cut is from My Favorite Things Stitched Oval Frames.

Wait til you see what the rest of Design Team created this week!!

Hope you'll join us this week.  Looking forward to seeing what YOU create!

Life Happens

Welcome back to my Saturday Coffee Café on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog!  Hope you have a cup of delish brew and are having a relaxing Saturday.

Not all Saturdays are relaxing, I know.  If you’re not running around for athletic games and errands, there’s housework or the never-ending laundry to do!  I try to get as much done as I can on Friday night.  My co-workers think I’m nuts (or at least don’t have a life) because I usually get grocery shopping done after work on Friday.  That leaves Saturday to stay in “jammies” all day, but sometimes life happens and my weekly plans get changed.  It’s ok, though…there’s a Starbucks in either direction of where errands may take me!

For my card, I chose this TimHoltz Bigz die, Tea Time, which I found on clearance at JoAnn Fabrics recently.  Using the new Distress Oxide ink pads, I used the smooshing technique to 'color' the cups.  The side was created with Tim Holtz Mix Media Thinlit Die.  The sentiment is from Verve’s set Coffee Helps.

P.S. - Be sure to Save The Date:

I have cause to celebrate today...I'm the Guest Designer at Challenge Up Your Life challenge blog!  The challenge for the next couple weeks is CHEVRON!

For my card, I started with a background die from Papertrey Ink and inlayed different colored cardstock.  These adorable party hats are a stamp/die from Reverse Confetti!  And what would a celebration be without a little bling so I added gold sequins!

I hope you'll find some time to join in the celebration.  I'm looking forward to seeing what YOU create!!

Today's YOUR Lucky Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
My grandmother was Irish (which puts a little Irish in me too :)  Every St. Patrick's Day she'd make the traditional meal of corn beef and cabbage.  I'd like to say I looked forward to the dish, but I was not a fan (of the taste or the aroma!)

Instead of making a meal, I opted to make a card instead!

I'm featuring several fun products found in the Drive By Crafts store.  First, if you haven't tried the new Ranger/Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pads, you are missing out on BIG fun -- I'm in love!  I created my backgrounds using these new ink pads.   Using the heart die from Concord & 9th's Layering Leaves, I cut from a piece of cardstock that I inked up with a few colors of Distress Oxide ink pads to create a 4-leaf clover. This fab Neat & Tangled sentiment from the So Lucky set takes center stage for my card and I added a few sequins from Drive By Crafts' Green Dragon mix!
